Fast Friendly buying experience from the first contact with salesman to the quick finance approval. There is a down-home family atmosphere with the whole dealership.

I was there for an oil change and mentioned I had been losing coolant from my radiator reservoir. They inspected, drained, and tested my coolant system then brought me out to show me what was going on. It's a simple repair so I'll do it myself at home. They then refilled my coolant system. All that plus an oil change in about an hour. I had figured on paying a labor fee plus whatever else they would have to add on but I was only charged for the oil change and coolant. I was shocked to say the least. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Many of my friends know, i love testing out warranties and seeing which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Often there are telling signs before purchase on big ones.. if possible you want to pay outright instead of financing (like vehicle warranties), BUT if you buy 1 with bad terms or unclear terms, it is likely you are buying false peace of mind. Recently the transmission failed in my 2019 Silverado. That is an expensive repair! I got a couple of quotes ranging from 6k-10k. Then i was like "well i purchased a warranty. That should cover it." I told my friend at the transmission shop i use, and he said "good luck. Usually those vehicle warranties back out or wont cover it." Seeing as the warranty policy itself cost significantly less than the transmission, i got nervous. The warranty was from Star Cheverolet in Wiggins, MS. Sure enough, they saw my wrecked transmission, and said it was covered as agreed in my warranty. They also noticed the bearing on my water pump was beginning to fail, and they replaced that as well. My total bill was like $408... just that water pump at auto zone costs almost that much.. My friend at the transmission shop had joked and said "if that Star Cheverolet warranty covers that transmission, i am going to tell everyone i know to buy their cars there too." I called him back and told him it was all covered and he was silent with shock. Haha. Then he said "wow i am so surprised! That is awesome!" So, if you need a vehicle, Star Cheverolet in Wiggins is the dealership i trust. So happy to have my truck back!

After picking up my car from the dealership I discovered all my stuff in my trunk wet and there was standing water where my spare tire was stored. No one mentioned anything to me about it. There was also some mold from the water.

Had good service on my truck, people were very friendly and helpful, took my truck in early and done a very good job. I would recommend Star to anyone for service

Friendly service that’s quick and convenient! I love the text notifications about additional services required, and the option to accept or deny the services from my phone.

We had to return to the service department immediately due to a warning for low oil, told everything was fine. Had to return again, the same day for the same issue. More than a week later we get the truck back. This was an engine replacement, it apparently had a dented oil pan(?) and a bad sensor. This, plus other experiences with having to return multiple times for the same issue needs addressing. Some type of quality control needs implemented.

Just an oil change/tire rotation. Not much can mess up with that. Wish they had explained the recall application to me. Not sure what it was about and how it helps. lots of new faces this time.
